About Julian
I'm Julian Smits. Freelance web developer and SEO/GEO specialist since 2020. I build websites, make brands findable in Google and in AI, and help them grow. Directly with clients, no middle layer.
I started in 2020 as a content marketer at an agency in Eindhoven. Within a year it was clear I enjoyed the technical side most: how Google reads sites, what good internal structure looks like, why one page ranks and another doesn't.
I've been freelancing since 2019. The first two years as a web designer, but the more I worked with SEO, the more I specialised in it. It suited me better than web design. From 2024 I started researching GEO, well before the term became common. Since 2025 about half of my work is AI search optimization.
JSResults is not an agency. I take on two to three new clients per quarter, so I can execute each project myself. Short lines of communication, no project managers between us, and numbers that actually mean something.
